Fall Art Tour Artist #22 realizes a sensible working order

 (yes, this mornings realization:
Avoid printing the woodblocks NOW
and airborne sawdust
will not become fastened to wet ink! )
I'm Artist #22 this year!

who....where...when...
what's to eat...where to sleep
and a great map!

Two more finials to go,
a serious vacuuming,
and I can begin printing unprinted blocks!

SardineQueen Update: Artist #22 on Fall Art Tour 2017

 I'm Artist #22 this year!
Get more Fall Art Tour Information HERE!
who....where...when...
what's to eat...where to sleep
and a great map!

AND,
this next week, I will be printing
TWO NEW WOODBLOCKS
 that are in THIS series:
I'll post prints, and photos of the blocks themselves,
which once inked and printed,
will never again look the same.
Here are a few whiteline prints:

 and a few more paintings:

I have a large stack of original oil pastels I worked on with each dive trip to the Caribean.
I did them for only me.
The islands are suffering hurricanes
and I feel that perhaps now
might be a nice time to bring them out.
Mostly oil pastels, some watercolors, and only one painting.
"Skinny Legs" was done to thank friends who let me stay with them for a week or so.
I will have a few prints
(I've too many to have prints of all of them,
this was my sudden decision to show them),
giclees, and originals for sale.

the studio

OK...here you go...
pictures of my studio...

cleaned up and organized for the FallArtTour.
This is NOT what it looks like when I'm in the thick of it....

10-kelenstudioleaving
when there's projects in progress everywhere....
parts, pieces, paints...
scribblings, scraps...precarious balancings...and all sorts of curiosities waiting for assembly
or to be seeds for something else...
